Come to Chicago’s 21+ bar The Gallery Cabaret for a 2½-hour get-together of poetry (prose poems and 1-song musicians are also very welcome to join us) for multiple rounds of open mics as the Chicago poet (and now Austin, TX resident) Janet Kuypers is in town for this 1-night, 2½-hour poetic extravaganza! During the evening Janet Kuypers will perform a poetry feature highlighting her CyberWit 2024 summer book release “The Universe is in Your Hands” of poetry with perspectives all around the globe (with cultural and scientific implications throughout the world — and the Universe), but she may also sprinkle in poetry from recent literary books as the editor of “cc&d” and “Down in the Dirt” with poems also highlighted in the CyberWit books “Shattering the Glass Ceiling” and “Testament”.
